RE: SOCIETAL SUICIDE

Thanks to Heritage Foundation vetted Supreme Court Judges MAGA is the first President of the United States to have unfettered by law dictatorial power.

My nephew was in Law School in 1973 when Heritage Foundation recruiters approached him. We laughed at the ridiculousness of turning Biblical Scriptures into public policy (law). Today Project 2025 is being used to replace liberal democratic governance, so successful poor people get fat, with illiberal Christian Nationalism.

Governance led by an unfettered by law Unified Executive (KING), administered by wealthy royals and enforced by pardoned well-armed thugs confident they will be pardoned for using violence to force commoners to do whatever they think their king wants done, is where we are.

Five decades ago, when I proposed to my Father-in-Law, his only advice was "Beware of the man with too little, or too much, religion". An amoral dictator, guided by zealots enforcing an illiberal version of Christianity, has created the perfect storm. In the words of John Adams, "Remember, democracy never lasts long, it soon wastes, exhaust and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide."

It is quite possible our 237 year-long Protestant work ethic based liberal democratic republic government will be replaced by Dictatorship. If that happens we will have, with your help, done it to ourselves.
