Arizona is an "at-will employment" state. That means
an employer can hire, promote and fire anyone at-will
as long as he/she follows his/her employment contract
and does not base their decision on sex, age, race,
national origin or sexual orientation.

On the other hand this is a litigious society. Lawsuits
are expensive and destructive even if one wins.
